Will of Will Angell

Lancaster County Virgnia Will Book 1, page 65[ii]

In th ename of God Amen, I, Will Angel , being sick and weak in body, but having perfect memory thanks to God, do make this my last will and testament.

Item – I give and bequeath my soul unto God, next my body unto the ground from whence it came.

Item – It is my will that my son Uria [sic] Angell  should administer upon my estate and what earthly goods I have, I give unto my son Uriah Angell and my two daughters Margaret Angell  and Alice Angell  and what cattle or hogs or any other goods I do leave them.  It is my desire that they shall not be divided until my two daughters come of age, and it is my desire that my son Uria Angell [sic] shall have my two hundred acres of land to himself and his sisters shall not have part of it.

Item – It is my desire that Alexander   Nash  should be paid 1 hh [hogshead] of toba. which I do owe him.

Item – It is my desire that Lene Johnson  should be paid to [two] ells of canvas that I owe unto him, and the true performance hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 20th day of Oct 1659.
