Flaald, son of Alan of Dol , d. living cir 1100, Monmouth.  Flaald had a son:

Alan Fitz Fleald

Alan Fitz Fleald , son of Flaald, d. he was living cir 1070, Oswestry, Shropshire; m. to a daughter of Warine, Sheriff of Shropshire. 

Alan obtained soon after the Norman conquest a grant of the castle of Oswestry[ii]

Alan & Miss (Warine) Fitz Fleald had three (3) sons[iii]:

Walter Fitzalan

Walter Fitzalan, 1st Steward of Scotland, son of Alan & Miss (Warine) Fitz Fleald, d. 1177; m. to Eschina de Londoniis , daughter of Thomas de Londoniis .

In 1160 founded the monastry at Paisley, for monks of the Clunic order, from the convent of Wenlock in his native Salop[iv].

Walter & Eschina (de Londoniis) Fitzalan had a son:

Alan Fitz Walter , High Steward of Scotland, son of Walter & Eschina (de Londoniis) Fitzalan, d. 1204; m 1st to Eva Unknown); m 2nd to Alesta of Mar , daughter of Morgund & Agnes (unknown) Mac Gylocher.

Walter Fitz Alan , son of Alan & Alesta (of Mar) Fitz Walter, d. 1246; m. to Beatrix of Angus , daughter of Gilchrist & Marjory (of Huntingdon) of Angus.

He was a Justiciary of Scotland[vi].

Alexander Stewart

1.  Alexander Stewart , High Steward of Scotland, son of Walter & Beatrix (of Angus) Fitz Alan, d. 1283; m. Jean Macrory [viii], daughter of Seumas macAngus (see MacDonald).

Principal commander under King Alexander III  at the Battle of Largs 2 Oct 1263 when the Scottish army defeated the  Norwegians. In 1264 he invaded the Isle of Man[ix]

1.1.  James [Seumas] Stewart , High Steward of Scotland [xi], son of Alexander  & Jean (macSeumas) Steward of Scotland , b. 1243; d.  16 Jul 1309; m. to Cecilia de Dunbar , daughter of Patrick & Christina (Bruce) de Dunbar.  James was the Steward of Scotland. 

In 1286 he was chosen as one of the six Regents of Scotland[xii].

Walter was the 6th High Steward of Scotland.

Robert Stuart  II, King of Scotland

1.1.2.2.  Robert Stuart , II [xix], son of Walter & Marjorie (Bruce) Stewart, b. 2 Mar 1316, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland[xx]; d. 19 Apr 1390, Dundonald Castle, Ayrshire; Interred Scone Abbey, Perthshire, Scotland; m. ca. 1347 to Elizabeth Mure of Rowallan, daughter of Sir Adam Mur of Rowallan, d. abt. 1355; m 2nd aft 2 May 1355 to Euphemia Leslie of Ross, Countess of Moray; Robert II had also had children by Moira Leithch and Marion Carny . 

Robert II was King of Scots  from 1370 to 1390.  He was crowned on 26 Mar 1371 at Scone Abbey, Perthshire, Scotland[xxi].  He was in command of the second division of the Scotch Army at Halidon Hill, and was one of the few who escaped the carnage of that disastrous day[xxii].
