The Clay family lived in Henrico & Chesterfield Counties , VA [i].

Henry  & Martha (Mitchell) Clay  had three (3) children:

  1. Amy Clay [ii], b. 1713[iii]; m. to William Green , of Amelia Co.[iv], son of Thomas  & Martha (Filmer) Green  II, d. ca. 1747[v].
  2. Henry Clay [vi], m. 1735[vii] to Lucy Green [viii], daughter of Thomas  & Elizabeth (Marston) Green  III, b. 1717[ix].  Lucy (Green) Clay  m 2nd William Marshall [x].
  3. Charles Clay [xi], son of Henry & Martha (Mitchell) Clay [xii], m. 1741[xiii] to Martha ‘Patsy’ Green , daughter of Thomas  & Elizabeth (Marston) Green  III, b. 1719[xiv].

Amy Clay

1.  Amy Clay [xv], daughter of Henry & Martha (Mitchell) Clay , b. 1713[xvi]; m. to William Green , of Amelia Co.[xvii], son of Thomas  & Martha (Filmer) Green  II, d. ca. 1747[xviii].

William  & Amy (Clay) Green  had six (6) children, of which:
